The Democratic National Convention(DNC) is like Robot Chicken on Adult swim

The DNC reminds me of Robot Chicken on Adult Swim, just a bunch of word mumble jumble with no real point other than undercutting the Pres every now and then. Them asking all their friends and coworkers of color what they think of the candidates; there was a particular gentleman of color that can barely even be heard because the feed isn’t coming through clearly, with a bad camera angle so you can’t even lip read…what’s with that?

It really made me laugh sometimes with the absurdity of how obvious they are without any real basis. They say Kamala is a good politician, but they don’t say why, they say Trump needs to be replaced, and they don’t always say why, just say it angrily. When they do say why, it’s a smear, not an actual attack on a policy he’s put forth.

They show a clip of Obama talking somewhere else previous to the convention, he’s in a gym or something, and he says the typical mumble jumble, no talk of policies, then back to the reporter. The reporter then says, Obama doesn’t mention Trump’s name, but I know he’s talking about Trump…

I hear no talk of plans for the people, other than pulling on heartstrings of how Biden is compassionate, though they don’t say why, and that the candidate is a woman of color, which REALLY shakes my feathers; I can’t even be happy about it, can’t cheer a sister on, because it comes with a narrative: for the rich at the expense of the people.

My love for humanity, and for the planet, has set me on a path of healing through love, compassion, and understanding. I'm originally from a big city in the big state of Texas, making my personality quite large. I then landed in a small town that's out-of-puzzles gorgeous where people still wave at each other when coming across each other in the street. This transition has helped my development and tried relationships with distance and sacrifice. I have 2 beautiful boys, Silas and Declan, and their loving father, Curtis, who make my world go round. My political views all stem from wanting to protect this beauty in all its forms.
