Inspiration

Routinely so

What is there to know

Barbie doll hair

Lip stick smear

I cannot find

My inner ear

Sometimes it hurts

Sometimes it feels good

What can I say

I love the thrill

It’s easy to spot

The vision in sight

It’s all in alignment

The hill up top

And side to side

To find just the perfect tide

Controversy inlaid

Intricate design

I hear it’s all the rage

Even if at dawn

After I mow the lawn

Ignition in high gear

Telling me over here

What’s going on over there

It’s all gossip I fear

The truth remains hidden

In format it lies

In bits and pieces

Learning like a child

Wonder and awe

Inspiration running near

I hear it I tell you

Its coming quite close

Close your eyes and come in

Holding hands with your mate

To your left and your right

You’re surrounded by pride

Keep walking closer it fears

Your insight so clear

Concise derived from mind

Story tale old as time

Learning lessons anew

Skipping songs picking few

Drum beat under my feet

Tick tick tock underneath

Drumsticks handle a beat

My love for humanity, and for the planet, has set me on a path of healing through love, compassion, and understanding. I'm originally from a big city in the big state of Texas, making my personality quite large. I then landed in a small town that's out-of-puzzles gorgeous where people still wave at each other when coming across each other in the street. This transition has helped my development and tried relationships with distance and sacrifice. I have 2 beautiful boys, Silas and Declan, and their loving father, Curtis, who make my world go round. My political views all stem from wanting to protect this beauty in all its forms.
